With a staff of over 100 personnel Bristow Academy from time to time recruits students for part-time, or even full-time, employment. Positions might include line service technicians (fuel truck drivers), operations assistants, aircraft maintenance and cleaning, or driving.
Of course our students are most interested in employment as helicopter flight instructors. Bristow Academy has had the great pleasure to provide the first flying job to almost 300 pilots over the past 20-years. The school currently hires approximately 2-3 new pilots per month from amongst the ranks of its recent graduates. The school looks for pilots with outstanding aeronautical knowledge, above average flying skills, pleasant personalities, excellent customer service skills, and a thoroughly professional approach to their career. No job interview is necessary – your training will provide ample opportunity for the school to get to know your strengths and weaknesses.
The school maintains an appropriate balance between highly experienced instructors who occupy the management and supervisory positions, and less experienced graduates of the program. Bristow Academy is always interested in hearing from experienced pilots with a passion for flight instruction who might be interested in joining the Bristow Academy team. Of particular interest are pilots with more than 3,000 hours of flight time and 2 years teaching experience. For Bristow Academy’s MTP program pilots with NVG or combat flying experience, as well as IP qualifications, are invited to apply.
